Church with a very old popular devotion in Bosa
As is often the case, the Church of the Rosary was built on the remains of an older church. Its remodelling dates back to the 19th century and pays tribute to the cult of the Rosary, which is the object of a very old popular devotion in Bosa. The festival of the Virgin of the Rosary is held every first Sunday in October to celebrate the victory of the naval battle of Lepanto in 1571. The church is surrounded by the Delitala and Don Carlo palaces, both from the 17th century.
