Nuraghe next to a church with an even more archaic appearance
The church was built at the beginning of the 11th century; it is rather low, with three apses covered by domes of Byzantine inspiration. It is a unique example of architecture on the island, since the church has a Roman structure, together with early Christian and Byzantine elements. Next to the church, the Nuraghe of 1200 B.C. contributes to give the whole complex an even more archaic appearance. It also included a village and two domus de janas.
