Cocco & Dessi is one of Oristano's bourgeois addresses. The elegant setting is a perfect match. Chairs and tables are skirted, glasses have legs, and the table is set when you arrive. The restaurant's Mediterranean cuisine is dominated by tomato, basil and olive oil. A special mention goes to lobster, cooked Catalan-style here with onion, tomato, oil and salt. The fish of the day is never lacking on the menu. Excellent wood-fired pizzas keep the bill down.

Hard 4. The we decided to spluge a bit on a dinner here. It is a much bigger place than we imagined from the outside. It filled up nicely after we were seated. Staff was attentive and professional. Very helpful since menu Italian isn't always the same as italian. Same with other languages. We had a Charcuterie platter, mixed salad. Then we had grilled fvegetable to go along with the grilled whole fish my wife picked out from the selection. It was very good. We then had teh warm chocolate cake with icecream for desert. I would go back again.

Peccato: personale competente e cortese in sala, dalla cucina urla da "cucine da incubo".
Gamberi rossi, dal bell'aspetto sul ghiaccio nella vetrina, affogati da una montagna di olive e salsa di pomodoro.
Poltroncine da sostituire assolutamente.
Per mantenere una tradizione quasi secolare ed essere all'altezza del conto pagato, mi aspetto qualcosa di meglio.
