PALAZZO DEGLI SCOLOPI
Palace in front of the city hall with a suitable room for the city council
The 17th century palace, now occupied by the town hall, was once a Piarist convent and school. The present meeting room is none other than the Church of San Vincenzo, which was incorporated into the building at the time of its construction. Today it is the hall where the town council meets. The school occupied the adjacent rooms. In the entrance hall, a plaque recalls that it was in this place that the Sardinian Action Party (Psd'a) was founded in 1921. In front of the Town Hall, a monument is erected in honour of Eleonora d'Arborea.
