Located ten kilometres from Oristano, it stretches 3 kilometres from the marina to the mouth of the Tirso river. Its golden sand and numerous facilities attract tourists and locals alike. It is the fishermen and farmers of the region who first equipped it. It is possible to travel on horseback, on foot, by bike, on roller skates or with a skateboard. Lively day and night, the beach is the town's favourite meeting place. It takes its name from the Spanish tower, the largest on the island, built between 1542 and 1572.
