The name of this restaurant is taken from the diminutive applied to Iglesias: "the city of churches". It's true that there are a lot of them. The Villa di Chiesa is located in the shadow of the Cathedral of Santa Chiara d'Assisi, in the pleasant town square. Better than the bourgeois hall, the large terrace on the square is sheltered by large white parasols. The chef offers a traditional menu of Sardinian-inspired dishes and pizzas. The antipasti are good and served copiously, but above all taste the seafood pasta.

Devo dire che mi sono trovata benissimo cucina eccellente tutto decisamente ottimo complimenti è stata una bellissima esperienza soprattutto per il palato...ho gradito la cottura della fregola sarda era eccezionale...il fritto misto era perfetto calamari croccanti e teneri sotto la infarinatura granitica.. devo dire era perfetta mai assaggiato un calamaro cotto alla perfezione così.... complimenti a tutto lo staff abbiamo passato una bellissima serata ????????

Seconda visita, seconda opinione assolutamente positiva.
Location meravigliosa, si cena in una piazza di una bellezza notevole, cibo come sempre ottimo, fresco e in giusta quantità.
Ho dato tre stelle al servizio per la lentezza, ma giustificata senza dubbio dall'afflusso del sabato sera; comunque addetti molto professionali e cortesi in modo esemplare.
Prezzo onesto, adeguato al livello del ristorante che è medio alto, si evince anche dalla mise en place.
