The Mouty-Chassagnette family has run the Castel Hôtel 1904, a superb 17th-century building, since 1904. The restaurant, with its low ceilings and exposed beams, is very pleasant, with well-spaced tables. In the kitchen, the chef works with the finest seasonal produce and serves up tasty cuisine. If you're in a hurry at lunchtime, you can opt for the brasserie side of the restaurant, at Le Comptoir, where family-style cuisine is served. Main courses vary according to the season. Special menus are available on Sundays and public holidays.

ce petit côté vintage... le restaurant magnifique et pas encombré de 36 menus... un moment un peu hors du temps et que l'on a envie de tenir secret !!! Tant pis c'est dit ! ah j'ai oublié aussi des chambres qui ont un charme fou... et il faut le mériter pour y aller, remonter par cette route verdoyante et sinueuse qui mène à Saint-Gervais d'Auvergne entourés
d'acacia et d'autres essences...
