The Mouty-Chassagnette family has run the Castel Hôtel 1904, a superb 17th-century building, since 1904. The restaurant, with its low ceilings and exposed beams, is very pleasant, with well-spaced tables. In the kitchen, the chef works with the finest seasonal produce and serves up tasty cuisine. If you're in a hurry at lunchtime, you can opt for the brasserie side of the restaurant, at Le Comptoir, where family-style cuisine is served. Main courses vary according to the season. Special menus are available on Sundays and public holidays.

De l'entrée au dessert en passant par les fromages (vraiment excellent en Auvergne).
Je recommande vivement.
Accueil sympathique de la patronne qui est agréable et aux petits soins. Le patron en cuisine est très attentionné. Ayant de nombreuses intolérances alimentaires, il a su s'adapter pour me proposer un excellent repas ; les saveurs étaient au rendez-vous. Un grand merci à lui. Nous reviendrons.
