CHURCH OF SAINT-GERVAIS-ET-SAINT-PROTAIS
Church with an architecture that combines the Romanesque bases of the 12th century that can be seen through its porch and fortifications.
Its name refers to two twin saints from the 1st century. Its architecture retains Romanesque features from the 12th century, which can be seen in its porch. Gothic features can also be seen in the openings and ribbed vaults. Two gargoyles adorn the bell tower-porch: the lion symbolizes the evangelist Saint Mark and the eagle refers to Saint John. Fortifications were added in the 15th century. The church houses two 16th- and 17th-century Pietàs.
