Charming and eco-friendly family hotel with two floors and two spacious rooms in Carloforte

This family-run B&B is run by two brothers who have taken over their grandfather's typical little house. Two floors and two spacious rooms overlook the central square. Il Ghiro means "the dormouse ", from the expression "to sleep like a dormouse", and this is indeed the case in this charming, eco-friendly place. With organic paint on the walls, breakfast prepared with fruit from the garden, organic coffee, filtered water, homemade jams and cookies, the Casanova brothers think of everything. If it's complete, Diaspro and Four Rooms belong to the same family.

Abbiamo soggiornato al Ghiro solo una notte. La struttura è in una posizione ottima :affaccia in una deliziosa piazzetta che brulica di persone di giorno e di sera. La camera matrimoniale piccola ma ospitale e pulita si raggiunge attraverso una scala a chiocciola. I proprietari ed il personale gentili ed accoglienti offrono un clima di immediata familiarità. La colazione curata con ottimi prodotti e servita in piazzetta ha dato un tocco charme al nostro soggiorno.

Abbiamo soggiornato una paio di notti al Four rooms e una notte al Ghiro... Che dire? Bruno e il suo staff ci hanno fatto sentire a casa e ci hanno aiutato anche a superare qualche piccolo inconveniente. Colazione ottima con prodotti locali servita in piazza al Ghiro all'ombra della magnolia (penso) e nell'attrezzatissima cucina al Four rooms.

Super accueillant et serviable. Bien que tout petit, très bien agencé (détail appréciable : chargeur USB à la lampe de chevet; on a pu ranger nos vélos pour la nuit). On s'y sent bien.
Et très bien situé ; place bruyante mais bonne isolation phonique et bonne clim.
