Neoclassical style church with a statue of Saint Anne
Built in 1738, this neo-classical style church was financed by refugees from the island of Tabarka in Tunisia. It is dedicated to San Carlo, one of the three patron saints of the city. A stone brought back from the apse of the church of Tabarka has been set behind the altar. The statue of Saint Anne was also part of the Tabarka-San Pietro journey. In the bell tower, a small red light indicates the way to the ships entering the harbour at night.
