This Cagliari institution celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2021. The Mundula family has managed to run this restaurant from generation to generation, always with the same recipe: good local dishes inspired by both land and sea. This former salt store offers a different atmosphere between its restaurant, which focuses on local specialities, and the wine bar, which offers a fine selection of oysters and champagnes. Here you can try Sardinian-style pork, fregola with clams, homemade fish soup or sweetbreads.

Specializzato soprattutto nei crudi, ma anche l'offerta di piatti cucinati è ottima. Buonissimi i gamberi con crema di fagioli, bella scelta di ostriche, molto buoni i piatti di pasta ed eccezionale il fritto. Bonus particolare per la carta dei vini (tra le migliori di Cagliari) e ancor più per la scelta di applicare ricarichi bassissimi: solo cinque euro in più rispetto al prezzo del vino. Il personale è cortese e competente, e il titolare è un grande appassionato e esperto di vini, con un debole per i francesi. Il prezzo è assolutamente giustificato dalla qualità dei cibi, dei vini e del servizio.

Il faut constamment aller chercher le serveur, les prix sont exagérés pour une qualité de plats plus que basse, la quantité est également loin d'être là. Pain rassis, bref, un bon piège à touriste qui nous a été recommandé par la location où nous sommes. A éviter
