SA DIE DE SA SARDIGNA
Go there and contact
Every 28th of April the Sardinians celebrate their feast that commemorates the revolution of 1794 against the Piedmontese. Faced with the refusal of the Viceroy of Savoy and Piedmont, Victor Amedeo III, to consider holding a general assembly in Sardinia, the inhabitants of Cagliari revolted and expelled the Piedmontese officials from the town. If the festival is held in all the localities of the island, it is in Cagliari that it beats its fullness. The decisive day was re-enacted in a theatrical performance in the streets of the Castello district and the San Remy bastion.
