PALAZZO BOYL
Palace overlooking the terrace of the Bastion Saint-Rémy with a façade of four statues
The palace, which overlooks the terrace of the Bastion Saint-Rémy, dates from 1840. It takes its name from the Boyl family who came to Sardinia from Valencia during the period of the Judases. Unfortunately, little remains of its past splendour. The four statues on the façade personify the four seasons, while cannonballs inlaid on the outer wall recall the three seats, French, English and Spanish, suffered by Cagliari. You can then descend the monumental staircase that leads to the Marina district.
