SA DOMU 'E FARRA
First ethnographic museum exhibiting tools used in agricultural work
This typical house of Campidania is the first ethnographic museum created in Sardinia. It was opened in 1978 to preserve and present the agricultural past of the island's nourishing plain. It is possible to see tools used for agricultural work, some of them dating back to the 17th century. The typical furniture of the farms of Quartu has been copied. In this spirit, the museum was chosen in 2020 to host the Multimedia Museum of Improvised Poetry. The "House of Flour" becomes the interactive collection of is cantadoris.
