MUSEO ARCHEOLOGICO GIOVANNI PATRONI
Small museum with objects from the excavations on the site of Nora
The city of Pula pays homage to the archaeologist Giovanni Patroni with this small museum which has the merit of recontextualizing the history of the region. It brings together Phoenician, Carthaginian and Roman artefacts unearthed during the excavations carried out at the Nora site: amphoras, marine anchors, ceramics, oil lamps, statues? Some of the artefacts are of great historical value and provide a better understanding of the cultures that succeeded one another over a period of 1,200 years.
