Site with several megalithic complexes with an alignment of 22 menhirs from the Neolithic period

Near Piscina Rei, in the north of the Costa Rei, you can still admire a line of 22 menhirs dating from the Neolithic period, 5,000 BC. Not even 200 metres from the beach, they line a dusty path. They are said to be arranged according to very precise astral positions. Unfortunately, the site is not very well maintained and the vegetation prevents from appreciating its particularity. This is a common problem in the region of Piscina Rei, where there are several megalithic complexes of this kind, most of them very difficult to access.
