You have to come to this 4-star hotel for its restaurant, which is considered one of the best in Arbatax. It is located overlooking the harbour, in a street without charm. The restaurant, a bit chic, deserves a mention for its neat setting, its diligent service and its pleasant outdoor terrace overlooking the pool. The chef concocts an original Mediterranean cuisine. The yellowtail carpaccio is accompanied by strawberries, the tuna carpaccio is spiced up with spring onions. Grilled shrimps or crème brûlée are much more classic.

Overall: Don’t repeat our mistake! Find yourself a nice hotel!
At the time I am writing this, I am still in this hotel for another night, UNFORTUNATELY!
1. It all started with their website being hacked while we were still home, so we had to deactivate our credit card and request a new one from our bank and go through all the trouble already pre-vacation, they were aware of the hack already as we contacted them.
2. End of September, we arrive at 13:00, the hotel is very empty, we say: “we would like to checkin, is it possible?”, Reception responds with no friendliness:”Checkin is at 15:00 madam”, being a bit surprised by the attitude she gave us in a 4 star hotel, we asked can we check in now?
And she, with no desire to answer, hands us our room card.
(So the room was available and we got in, but was confused what was the attitude for???!)
3. At the reception they gave us pool towels and made us sign a deposit of 50€ for that! Not even in my young days in cheapest hotels has this ever happened!
4. Hotel being empty, we get one of their worst rooms I assume! (Hope not all rooms have the same quality!) We enter, the room smells musty, as if the windows were never opened and, of course -> there is not even one ray of sun in this room the whole day (we paid 575€ for this room by the way)

- There are ventilation/window from their laundry room directly under our room, so it’s SUPER LOUD and SMELLS LIKE CHEMICALS!!! AWEFUL!

5. Cleaning service: on the first day we put the sign of do not disturb: came back from breakfast, they have been in the room, and moved everything, cleaned the floor with a liquid that contains chlorine, we couldn’t breath..
6. Breakfast: smallest buffet I have ever been to. All the fantastic local product in Sardinia, they still offer plastic packed president butter and cheese, cheap tea bags and mediocre coffee!
7. For going to the beach I bought bottled beer, on my way upstairs to the hotel room, the receptionist runs after me saying I can’t take my beer to my room! It’s against their rules! -Why? Is it a monastery?-
IMPORTANT to mention: all the feedback was already given to the receptionist, that we are unhappy for all these points and feel very unwelcome! She only said nothing she can do.. when we said: at least an apology for the card situation, she said “it was not our fault but sorry”. (Just for the context, I assume it was within their responsibility as they sent an email admitting their website was hacked and receivers should ignore the message received from the hotel for double payment)
Expected much more from Sardinia!
