New parish church with frescoes and neoclassical style
The old church, still visible at the exit of the city, was abandoned in the 18th century. A new parish church was to be built in the centre of Orani, but the lack of funds slowed down the start of the work. It was not until 1867 that the project was entrusted to an architect from Nuoro, who was obviously very influenced by the neoclassical style. A 16th-century polyptych and frescoes by Stanis Dessy and Mario Delitala are preserved inside.
