MUSEO COSTANTINO NIVOLA
Museum with marble sculptures, paintings and graphic works
The museum, a former laundry, pays homage to Costantino Nivola, a local boy. This sculptor, painter and designer collaborated with Le Corbusier, Niemeyer and Sert to create sculptures for squares and public buildings. His marble sculptures, primitive grandmothers and Sardinian workers of cubist inspiration, as well as his paintings and graphic works can be admired. Also on display are works made using the sand casting technique, which consists of pouring plaster into sand modelled in negative.
