The most lovely place. Located on a hill in the outskirts of the small town of Dorgali, surrounded by woods and with an amazing view on the valley. The owner is super nice and an endless source of interesting information about the area. The rooms are quite basic but large, well lit, and spotless. The restaurant offers a selection of delicious home-style local specialties and pizza. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Die Bewertung bezieht sich nur auf das Restaurant, welches sehr schön auf einem Berggipfel gelegen ist. Die beschwerliche Auffahrt wird definitiv mit einer spektakulären Aussicht belohnt! Als wir ankamen wurden die Tische noch eingedeckt, wir wurden aber trotzdem freundlich empfangen und durften uns einen Tisch aussuchen. Als Wein hatte ich den spritzigen dorgalesischen Rosé, meine Begleitung trank Wasser. Die Vorspeisenplatte mit einer Auswahl von Wurst und grünen Oliven war schmackhaft, die verschiedenen Pasta-Gerichte waren gut zubereitet, obwohl die Tomatensauce zum Ravioli den Geschmack der Käsefüllung zu sehr übertüncht hat. Das Spanferkel (obwohl nur mit Vorbestellung möglich haben wir es ordern können) war unglaublich gut.

Ein Gericht (Steak und fittierte Kartoffelscheiben) wurde leider komplett vergessen und kam entsprechend spät bei uns an. Der gemischte frittierte Fischteller den wir ursprünglich auch bestellt hatten, wurde ebenfalls vergessen, was sich aber als vorteilhaft erwies weil wir schnell satt waren. Das andere vergessene Gericht war in Ordnung, obwohl das Steak wirklich für Gäste mit Bärenhunger ausgelegt zu sein scheint, da es riesig ist! Die frittierten Kartoffeln dazu waren leider etwas dünn gehobelt und fettig.

Nach dem Hauptgang kam der Kellner leider gar nicht mehr an unseren Tisch, das Weinglas blieb lange leer. Schade!

Das Lokal ist gepflegt (auch die Sanitäranlagen, sogar ein Wickelplatz ist vorhanden), das Personal war sehr freundlich. Der ältere Kellner sprach sogar etwas Deutsch. Für 5 Sterne hat aber leider was gefehlt, besonders die Aufmerksamkeit die uns zum Anfang des Besuchs zuteil wurde hätte aufrecht erhalten werden können. Es ist ein gut besuchter Ort mit gutem Essen, das wir anderswo aber durchaus schon besser gegessen haben.

Holidaying in Sardinia from the U.K. in mid June 2023, we stayed at this beautifully located 3 star hotel, near the town of Dorgali.

There is parking within the hotel compound.

We were warmly welcomed by Mariano, who checked us in.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean, with air conditioning - as was the bathroom.

Breakfast was lovely, a good variety.

This is a lovely hotel - in a tranquil location up a hill, overlooking the magnificent mountains.

We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant, sitting both inside and the outside terrace..

From the outside terrace, the views of the mountains and Dorgali town are breathtaking, particularly at sunset.

For lunch we had a variety of dishes - fish, meat and pasta.

For dinner, we had pizza and pasta dishes.

On both occasions we were warmly attended to by Francesco, who was helpful, friendly and professional.

I recommend a stay at this hotel.

We came through on a walking tour in early September. Delicious food and wonderful staff. We would love to come back again some day. Thank you.

Ottima cucina, specialità barbaricine cinnun tocco di innovazione. Buona materia prima. Provati soprattutto i piatti Di terra ,tutti ottimi. Servizio gentile e personale preparato. Bellissimo terrazza con vista sul monte Bardia e su una splendida valle. Consigliato.
