Cave with a staircase of 280 steps surrounding groups of spectacular chalky concretions
The long chalky column of 38 m that connects the vault to the floor makes this cave special and unique. A staircase with 280 steps leads down to the base of the cave, which is surrounded by other groups of spectacular chalk concretions. In the 80-metre long cave, where the temperature is a constant 15°C, a stream and a fantastic light show create a magical atmosphere. Experienced cavers continue on to the Virgin Abyss, a narrow corridor that stretches for 12 km to the cave of San Giovanni su Anzu.
