Archaeological area on top of a basalt hill with a beautiful view of the surroundings
The archaeological area is accessible from the winding road that descends from Dorgali to Cala Gonone. The nuraghe is located on the top of a basalt hill which offers a beautiful view of the surroundings. It is surrounded by the remains of dwellings surrounded by a guard wall. The village was discovered under Roman ruins in 1990. The nuraghe unfortunately collapsed on itself. Four niches were built into the outer wall, probably for the guards.
