Located within walking distance of the city centre and the airport (15 km), just minutes from the embassy district. Opened in 1984, this huge complex was originally the only "open" place to foreigners: so it is a real village! It consists of 1 000 rooms and suites, 13 Chinese, Asian (Indonesian, Thai) and Western restaurants (pizzeria, German, tex-mex and grill), coffee shop (excellent, locally brewed or take-away pastry), a bar for businessmen, complete sports equipment: Gym, swimming pool, sauna, clinic and massage, a huge park where you can jog right across the hotel with an artificial lake. Bank of China branch (closed on Sunday), post. Very beautiful shopping mall. Free shuttle for downtown (multiple stops) and 20 RMB for airport (every hour from 6 am to 22 pm).
