It is probably the best stocked bookstore in Beijing. There is a very large selection of books on various themes, and as its name indicates, it is one of the few places where you will find literature in foreign languages. Just next door is a smaller bookstore where you can obtain topographic maps and Beijing plans; in particular, you can read from Périplus, the latest completely updated edition in this store. You can probably buy it in France before you leave, the card is just and very detailed, it even shows the cash withdrawal points with a credit card.
