NATIONAL CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS
The great national theater is Paul Andreu's impressive architectural creation in the south of the Forbidden City. It was for a long time controversial (especially when the project was chosen) among the local population. Still known as the "egg", this large center of 149 500 m 2 is composed of several rooms: an opera room (2,400 places), a concert room (2,000 seats) and a theater room (1,000 seats). You reach the heart of the structure by literally underwater. It's so beautiful. We love it. And even if we haven't got tickets, the view by night is worth more than the detour.
