Located on the north shore of Lake Houhai, this ancient princely palace of Qing (having belonged to Emperor Puyi's father) became the place of residence of Song Qingling, Sun Yat-sen widow, who settled there when she left Shanghai in 1963 and she lived. t until his death in 1981. It should be remembered that Song Qingling had an active and lively political life that was being held as Vice-President of the People's Republic of China with Mao. The residence is conveniently located in a large park planted with classic style pavilions, and is found by visiting the family life of Sun Yat-sen.
