PALACE OF THE PEOPLE'S CULTURE PARK
This park is done at Sun Yat-sen Park (Zhongshan). Located on the other side of the Forbidden City, there is the temple of Imperial Ancestors (Tai miao) built under the Ming by Emperor Yongle in 1420. This was where Emperors Ming and Qing came to worship their ancestors, one of the most important cults in China with agrarian worship. Today, the building serves as a games and entertainment room, with ping pong in particular.
The temple is a succession of three rooms drawn up on terraces. In the first, the previous room (Qian Dian) took place five times a year in which the emperor reverted to the ancestors' tablets. The middle room (Zhong Dian) was used as a backbone for the rest of the time. The third room, the rear room (Hou Dian), kept the tablets of «imperial ancestors posthumously», those who had never reigned but the emperor wished to honor. There will also be beautiful cynicists in the park.
