NATIONAL MUSEUM OF CHINA
Resulting from the merger of the Chinese Revolution Museum and the Museum of Chinese History, the National Museum of China was completely renovated and opened in 2011 with a surface area (192,000 m 2) which makes it the largest museum in the world. Indeed, he has 48 large halls that trace China's history from prehistory, then China's expansion through its large dynasties to the Qing dynasty and now under the respective names of «ancient China» and «the Road to Renewal.» There will also be a dozen exhibitions of thematic and international art that cover just as much French painting as African masks. Among the main pieces, the large part of the permanent collection dedicated to the porcelain, which is growing and boasts more and more mastered scenery on its cover, where those dealing with silk (which are splendid) or the technique of lacquer will be highlighted. Also, the ceramics room presents nicely (and with explanations in English) beautiful pieces covering the evolution of China in China, whose importance is known as it appears in Chinese culture in the age of Neolithic.
History
Originally, two museums were grouped into a large building located on the east side of Tian 'anmen Square. The Museum of History of China (♀ 海نننس) was located in the south wing and the Revolution Museum (♀ 海نننس), in the north wing. It was the new regime that designed this museum to give its own version of China's history. Closed during the Cultural Revolution for ideological revision, the museum was reopened in the late 1970 s. It was China's largest museum with more than 60,000 pieces (original and copies included). It has since closed its doors to face a more contemporary, certain looks more neutral, in the history of China and the world.
