North of Wangfujing Dajie, this large, massive Chinese-style building is among the 10 major monuments in Beijing and China. These 4 rooms cover an area of 6,000 m ², exhibiting many Chinese works from the so-called post-liberation period (after 1949) in which there is a strong revolutionary influence. In addition, this museum hosts over one hundred temporary exhibitions per year of works by Chinese and foreign artists.
