YIDEKEZHAN
Built under Emperor Qianlong (1736-1785), during the Qing dynasty, this magnificent ensemble of courses was originally the home of Hou Wangbin, a wealthy banker of Pingyao. The finely decorated buildings are all very well preserved and the hotel has kept to the atmosphere of the places: The rooms have preserved the original floors, the beds are antique kangs (heated stone beds), and the wooden doors are also time. A house of tea that serves some cooked dishes is installed in a very beautiful building of a secondary court: soft music and decoration contribute to the magic of the place, which is probably the most charming of the city.
