KAIFENG MUSEUM
Unfortunately the permanent exhibition rooms of this museum are dusty and poorly organized (the third is a furniture reserve for a city store). And after a visit, one cannot help wondering where the imperial bas-reliefs and the Ming and Qing crafts (more than 20 000 pieces) are? So, we turn to the presentation of the contemporary revolutionary history that is, as usual in China, placed in the centre of the museum. In the end, the only interest in a visit to the Kaifeng Museum is the exhibition of relics of the city's Jewish history on the fourth floor.
