WANGCHENG PARK

Located west of Zhongzhou Street, it is the largest park in Luoyang. Built on the site of the former Royal Capital (Wangcheng) of the East Zhou, the park covers 72 hectares on each side of the river Jian. The famous Festival festival is held here every year. On the west bank of the river, a new architectural ensemble in the style of Eastern Pentecostal has been built in recent years: it includes a scene that allows traditional representations. This green space is very frequented by the local population who practice their early childhood gymnastics and walks there on weekends. A small zoo is also housed in the park.
