CHÂTEAU REIFENG-AUZIAS - 瑞枫奥塞斯葡萄酒庄园
Located around Penglai, this great winery is the fruit of collaboration between France and China. This "joint venture" is a blend of successful French and Chinese know-how. With its first harvest in autumn 2007, there is evidence that China has the ideal climate for producing great wine. It is a quality wine produced by the Chateau thanks to its vineyards located along the Yellow Sea - thus enjoying a temperate climate favourable to production - and its clay and limestone soil, composed of flint and fine gravel on a latitude identical to that of some of our Aude wines.
The Auzias family imported the know-how to china which it already uses near the medieval city of Carcassonne. For its first harvest, the estate produced some 50,000 bottles (a white wine - Chardonnay - and two red wines - prestige and premium). Chinese production from the Reifeng Auzias estate is made of cabernet, merlot, grenache, syrah and the famous chardonnay whose consumption goes well with seafood of the region of Shandong. Amateurs should take note.
