ZHOU ENLAI'S RESIDENCE
This residence was also the headquarters of the Typically representation of the Chinese Communist Party between June 1946 and March 1947. The villa dates back to the 1920 s and was classified as a historic monument in 1959 and opened to the public in 1986. Very few objects or documents are displayed in this house, and unless you have a fascination for wooden offices and camp beds, the collections presented are not very interesting. However, the visit is justified for the house itself, even more beautiful than that of Sun Yat-sen. It is located on two floors, with large rooms with windows open onto a large garden. Once you have completed the visit of the first building, you must go under the small door to the bottom of the garden (go through the big statue of Zhou Enlai), which gives access to a second house.
