SHANGHAI CITY PLANNING MUSEUM
The architecture of this museum is inspired by that of the neighbouring opera. In this large white building located in the People's Square, you can discover by means of plans, photos and, above all, a huge model of Shanghai, urban history, city architecture and its ambitions for the future. You will find explanations and plans for some of the city's flagship projects: the deep water port, the new south station, the exhibition grounds. The most interesting part is on the 4 th floor, where you can almost wander through a giant model. On the same floor is a video room (360 ° screen), where a film brings us to discover Shanghai in a synthetic image over the main avenues, buildings and projects under way. A museum that is worth a visit to understand the city's recent urbanization.
