MUSEUM OF JEWISH REFUGEES - OHEL MOSHE SYNAGOGUE
This synagogue, built in 1927 by the community of Russian Jewish Jews, became the Jewish refugee museum in Shanghai. This building with a well preserved architecture lies in the heart of the ancient Jewish ghetto. The synagogue contains black and white photos and texts on the course and heroes of the Jews of Shanghai forced to reside in this sector during World War II. Gathered in 2,5 km ², between the streets of Zhou Jiazui to the north, Gongping to the west, Huimin to the south and Tongbei to the east by the Japanese occupation, over 20 000 Jews lived there in severe economic conditions but escape the "final solution".
