BIG BRIDGE OVER THE CHANGJIANG
China's pride, this two-storey bridge was entirely designed by Chinese engineers after the departure of Russian experts, specifying the official history. Opened for traffic on 23 December 1968, this art book finally connects the two banks of the Yangtze River with the continuity of the Beijing-Shanghai railway line. In fact, 6 772 m for the lower deck, intended for the railway, and 4 589 m for the road axis of the upper deck, a real feat for one of the greatest bridges of the time! Vision, impressive in the evening, of an illuminated bridge reflected in the waters of the Great River. However, the bridge does not have a great tourist interest.
