Chengdu is one of China's most important airports. Direct flights from and to Hong Kong daily, and international flights to Bangkok, Singapore and Tokyo. Beijing (2 hours 10 minutes drive), Canton/Guangzhou (2 hours 10 minutes drive), Shanghai (2 hours 15 minutes drive), Lhasa (2 hours journey), Kunming (1 hour journey), Guilin (1 hour 20 minutes drive), Wuhan (1 hour 15 minutes drive)) or Xi 'an (1 hour 15 minutes drive) are served daily.
From airport to downtown
Taxi: Approximately 30 to 45 minutes to travel by taxi (from 70 to 90 RMB).
Bus: A shuttle runs from the CAAC agency opposite the Jinjiang Hotel every half-hour. The ticket can be purchased on board (10 RMB). From the airport, the same bus joins Jinjiang Hotel. Departure when it is full.
Subway: Line 10 makes the junction between the airport and the city center.
