MONASTERY OF DIVINE LIGHT
The temple was built during the Han period (from 206 B.C. to 220 p. m. J, then rebuilt by Emperor Xizong, of the Tang Dynasty, who fled from Chang'an, the capital, and found refuge in this temple. It was destroyed during the Ming period and the current ensemble, comprising a 30 m high pagoda, the date of the Qing period. Last renovations and reconstructions in 1985.
This huge ensemble spans 90 000 m ², surrounded by lush gardens to the many varieties of bamboo associated with cypress trees. The place is extremely lively, the procession of faithful and visitors arrives endlessly.
