Monumental site discovered in 1942. Wangjian (847-918), a general born in Henan at the end of the Tang era, escorts Emperor Xizong in exile in Sichuan before proclaiming himself emperor of the first Shu kingdom during the Five Dynasties period. The tomb is an imposing mound of 15 m high and 80 m in length.
