From Chengdu, buses leave at least every 45 minutes from Xinnanmen station, and some arrive directly at the Baoguo Monastery. The journey takes about 2 hours 30.
From Leshan, buses leave as soon as they are full of the central bus station. The journey lasts 30 minutes. Taxis can also be shared in Leshan Central Station.
