There is a flight almost every hour between Lijiang and Kunming (360 km, 50 minutes of travel). All year round, Lijiang Airport, located about 30 kilometres east of the city, also serves Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Jinghong, Canton, Shenzhen, Guiyang and Chengdu.
From the airport to the city centre
Bus: Shuttles connect the airport to the city centre for about 25 RMB. To get there from the city, take the buses in front of the Blue Sky Hotel.
Taxi: A taxi will ask for 80 RMB from the old town to reach the airport.
