ANTAI DAJIULOU
This Chinese restaurant offers all the specialties of the region, including the great culinary specialty of Fuzhou: a beautifully named "Buddha that jumps over the wall", says fotiaoqiang. The legend tells us that several latvians, by tasting this dish, found it so refined and its fumet so intense that they began to write worms to describe it. One of these poems tells the story of a monk which, attracted by the alluring smell of the dish, jumps over the wall of its monastery. This dish in pot is based on seafood: shark fins, abalone, dried Saint-Jacques, sea cucumbers… Cutting the pieces constituting this dish is a true art. Its intense taste will remain on your lips several hours after its tasting. However, only the most seasoned palaces in Chinese cuisine will truly appreciate it.
