Modern and practical, Baiyun International Airport opened its doors in 2004 and has received over 53 million passengers in recent years. It is located 25 km from the city centre, to which it is connected by express means. The airport is connected to more than domestic and international destinations, including Paris. At the beginning and upon arrival, you will find:
internal lines: some local companies provide links to all major Chinese cities. The passenger can register at any counter of his airline.
international flights: many regional flights (Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo and Bali), but also to Europe. Air France offers direct daily flights between Paris and Guangzhou/Guangzhou.
From airport to downtown
Bus: Airport Express shuttle service connects the airport to the city centre and awaits you at the airport's main exit. Departure every half hours, count approximately 25 RMB.
Taxi: take a little less than one hour's drive (very variable depending on traffic). Taxis are also waiting for you at the main exit. The taxi fare for the same journey is approximately 140 RMB (toll charges are charged to the customer).
Metro: line 3 connects the airport to the city centre.
