PROVINCIAL MUSEUM OF GUANGDONG

Exhibitions of funds from archaeological excavations in the region: interesting blend of ancient Chinese art under Western and middle eastern influences in this region oriented towards international trade with the Maritime Silk Road. At the same address, the museum of Luxun (Luxun Jinnianguan), built on the site of the old Qing examinations centre (1644-1911). The tower tower (Dazhong Ta), today the hall dedicated to one of the greatest writers of this century, was originally the administrative building at Zhongshan University; it was also in these premises that the first congress of the Kuomintang was held.
