DOCTOR SUN YAT-SEN MEMORIAL
Most overseas Chinese go to Cuiheng, near Zhongshan, north of Zhuhai, because it's the native village of Dr Sun Yat-sen. You can visit the family house built by the funds sent by a brother installed abroad in 1892. A well documented museum retrace his life. You will notice that in most parks in China there is a statue of Sun Yat-sen. They were not déboulonnées, unlike many others during the Cultural Revolution. For even though he is a liberal and not a Communist, Sun Yat-sen, a founding father of the republic, remains a hero both for the Chinese people of the People's Republic and overseas. To join the location, take the minibuses from Gongbei near the border crossing.
