Im Rahmen einer kulinarischen Radtour im Juli 2022 erreichten wir nach 60 km bei 30 Grad im Schatten die Auberge, wunderbar klimatisiert. Wir übernachteten im letzten freien Zimmer, dem Refuge du Poete unter dem Dach, welches sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet ist. Am Abend saßen wir mit vielen anderen sehr entspannten, unkomplizierten und lässigen Menschen, darunter nicht wenige andere Fahrradfahrer, in super schöner Atmosphäre beim Menue "Bekenntnisse eines Kochs". Zählt man die Gänge mit allen Amuse bouches und Amuse gueules und den Amuse nach dem Dessert, kommt auf 10 Gänge. Es war einfach nur wunderbar und außergewöhnlich. Noch überraschender war das Frühstück, mit frisch gebackenem Brot und Hefe- und Blätterteiggebäck in elsässer Keramikformen. Tollen Marmeladen, Käse- und Schinkenauswahl, und vieles mehr. Die Auberge hat ein hohes Suchtpotential, einfach toll!
