Wood-panelled colonial decor, excellent service and sophisticated cuisine are the hallmarks of the Verandah. Arched windows look out over the bay to the sea beyond, wooden paddles on the ceiling lazily stir the air and chandeliers recreate an old-fashioned ambience. To whet your appetite, foie gras carpaccio, filet of sole meunière and lobster. To end on a subtle note, passion fruit soufflé with wild berries. Sunday brunches are famous.Afternoon tea is also served (3pm to 5:30pm).
