In Hong Kong, beach restaurants are almost non-existent, as permits are difficult to obtain for a variety of reasons. The Coconuts is one of the few lucky ones to offer a terrace almost with its feet in the sand, on the superb Deep Water Bay beach. Here, at lunchtime or in the evening, you can enjoy a Thai speciality or simply sip a drink and eat a few snacks on the go, in a relaxed, festive atmosphere. It's a magical place, especially at sunset, with the sound of the waves.
